it." Monica Galetti is a highly renowned chef,
entrepreneur, author and presenter born in
Samoa, raised and trained as a chef in New
Zealand. Best known for being a judge on
'BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals'.
Galetti's success includes working at the 2
Michelin- starred Le Gavroche restaurant for
Michel Roux Jr. She became the first female
sous chef at Le Gavroche and then head chef
at Le Gavroche Tropiques in Mauritius in
2005. After 12 years at Le Gavroche, Galetti
opened her debut restaurant Mere in 2017.

Balsley had spent 13 years with the IHG hotel
company and worked her way up the ladder to
become the senior vice president of the global
loyal and partnership team. Balsley oversees
the companies 16 different hotel brands and
making sure all guests have great
experiences during their stay, and to take
charge of major sporting events such as the
US Open.
