Calum Bruce
Calum is the Project Manager for Urban
Union and is currently delivering 5 large
scale regeneration projects across
Glasgow and Edinburgh. He is qualified
with an HND in built environment
and has over 30 years' experience in
the industry. He brings a wealth of
knowledge and expertise in construction,
site management, design coordination,
commercial oversight, and health and
safety.
Andy Pollock
As an Associate Dean, Andy Pollock
has responsibility for leading the
Construction and Built Environment
Team at City of Glasgow College. He is a
passionate advocate for change through
collaboration with extensive current links
within both education and construction.
Over 30 years' experience in the
Construction Industry in both practical
and managerial positions. 20 years'
experience in the Further Education
Sector as a Lecturer, Curriculum
Manager and Strategic Lead.
Professional memberships include the
Institute of Innovation and Knowledge
Exchange and the Chartered Managers
Institute and currently represents the
college sector on the Construction
Leadership Forum.
Angeline Robertson
In her role as the Partnerships Director
at hub West Scotland she has a focus on
Management; Client engagement and
business development; Communications
and Marketing; Feasibility studies;
Project Briefing and cost analysis.
Angeline holds a degree in architecture
from the University of Strathclyde, and
has 25 years' experience of project
development and construction from
Architect, to project management,
package manager to her current role
now with hub West.
Angeline is also responsible for the
development of Strategic Support
Partnering Services and works with our
public sector clients and supply chain to
deliver various call-off services.
Chris Keenan
Chris Keenan is the Dean of the Faculty
of Nautical & STEM at City of Glasgow
College, Scotland's largest college.
He strategically leads the Faculty,
encompassing Nautical Science and
Marine Engineering, Mechanical &
Electrical Engineering, and Built
Environment & Construction.
Before joining the education sector
in 2015, Chris began his career as an
apprentice engineer with Rolls Royce,
eventually becoming an aero engine
repair engineer. He later worked as a
surveyor and senior manager with
Allianz Insurance, focusing on legal
engineering inspection work for the HSE.
Chris transitioned to education to
leverage his extensive industry
experience, initially innovating in
engineering teaching. He held senior
leadership roles, including Associate
Dean of Engineering and Faculty Director
at Fife College, before returning to City
of Glasgow College as Dean of Nautical
& STEM.
